The American Nurses Association (ANA) has determined this year’s theme to be “4 million reasons to celebrate”, a nod to the over 4 million nurses in the United States, making it the largest healthcare profession in the nation. As healthcare continues the shift towards value based care, population health will become the “buzz” word. By promoting wellness, preventing disease and addressing health inequities, we as nurses will improve the health of populations!
To all the nurses and medical assistants who support the nursing team, it is an honor to celebrate and recognize the work that you do during this week! Thank you for your commitment to our patients and for choosing the specialty of ambulatory care nursing!
