Whitney Young Health Signs “Prescription for Progress”

Whitney Young Health is proud to announce that David Shippee, President & CEO, has signed the Times Union and WNYT’s  “Prescription for Progress: United Against Opioid Addiction” initiative. 

The coalition includes leaders in health care. media, law enforcement, government, education and business who will together “bring people on the front of crisis into its fold to share best practices, expose gaps and identify the hurdles. Members of the coalition include, St. Peter’s Health Partners, Siena College Research Institute, MVP Health care. Albany Medical Center, University at Albany, Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and lastly, Whitney Young Health. 

The first step in the process will be a survey asking people all across the state on their opinions, beliefs and personal behaviors when it comes to this epidemic.
