National Prescription Drug Take Back Day – April 29th

Mark your calendars and start going through your medicine cabinets because Saturday, April 29th is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. The day is dedicated to remind people to get rid of any unused or expired medication they may have in their home in a safe, convenient, and responsible manner. It is also an opportunity to educate the general public about the potential for the abuse of medications. 

Rensselaer County will be participating on this day as they do every year. They will be provide multiple locations for you to come in and drop off any medications on Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm. If you live in or near Rensselaer County take a look at the multiple drop-off locations below:
