Overview.

Whitney Young Health's Whitney on Wheels (WOW), is a mobile health unit that brings primary care services directly to our patients in schools and community settings, eliminating many barriers to care.

WOW offers primary and preventive services including routine physicals, vaccinations, and health and nutrition counseling. At some locations mobile blood draws are offered. Currently, we visit more than 18 locations throughout the Capital District, ranging from schools to shelters.

PLEASE NOTE: To be seen on Whitney on Wheels, you must be willing to establish with Whitney Young Health (WYH) as your primary care provider.

Most WOW sites require you to be a member of the school or organization listed. However, we do offer open sites where anyone can be seen.

To make an appointment at one of our open sites, please call the WOW mobile number at (518) 530-2337.
