TROY, N.Y.¬– The Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region awarded Capital Roots a $50,000 grant from The Hortense and Louis Rubin Community Health Fund to continue and expand the VeggieRx Program partnership with Whitney Young Health.
Whitney Young Health announced the hiring of two new pediatric providers, Dr. Samina Mian and Dr. Janice Kao. The addition of Dr. Mian and Dr. Kao allows for increased appointment availability, enabling more patients to be treated at the health centers located in Albany, Troy and Watervliet.
