The Prenatal Department at Whitney Young is here to make sure you receive the best care for you and your baby, every step of the way! Our friendly and caring staff will work with you during your entire pregnancy.

While having a baby can be one of the most exciting times in a woman's life, it can also be one of the most confusing. We work with physicians, certified nurse midwives and other staff to provide you with the information and services you need. We will work with you to make sure that you have access to birthing and parenting classes, nutrition counseling, oral health and other services, and the information that you will need to get ready for your baby. And once the baby is born, we can provide you with the resources you need to make sure that you have the ongoing support you need to raise a healthy baby.

Our services include:

• Case management - we're here to answer your questions or any concerns that you might have and we'll assist you in getting the services you need throughout your pregnancy.
• PCAP (Prenatal Care Assistance Program) - a special New York State program that covers health care for you and your baby. You might be eligible for PCAP even if you have health insurance, so give us a call to learn more.
